The Rock Snob Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Greetings All... I can't seem to find suitable info in the guides, so I'll ask here. I have an 8GB ISO file that I would like to convert to a DVD file folder to convert at a later date. I'm only finding instructions on how to burn an ISO directly to DVD+ DL (which I know how to do). Can't I make a conversion to DVD and put it in a new folder on my hard drive without having to make a hard physical (dual layer) copy? Thank you in adavance for all your help.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 An ISO is like a zip file (but without compression). Most (de)compression utils can extract the files from an ISO - i.e. WinRAR, 7zip etc. Failing that, mount the ISO in a virtual drive program and just access its contents via the virtual drive (just as you would do any other drive) using Explorer.
