moose579 Posted December 11, 2012 Author Posted December 11, 2012 quick update updated laptop drivers and also updateded external dvd writer both havnt stopped the problems im having
LIGHTNING UK! Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Try the 2 other supported write speeds if the drive is doing a bad job of burning at 4x. After that I'd just say to buy better discs.
moose579 Posted December 11, 2012 Author Posted December 11, 2012 (edited) so lighting there is nothing wrong with my drives /or laptop drivers im now trying to burn with alcohol 120% or my log file is ok Edited December 11, 2012 by moose579
LIGHTNING UK! Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 I can't tell you the answer to that based on the info you've provided. The drive should be burning without erroring out, but obviously that isn't the case. There are little tweaks you could attempt in order to get it working - like enabling 'Perform OPC Before Write' or switching the 'Write Type' to 'Incremental'. Both of those could potentially alter how the drive tries to do things with the disc and could provide a workaround for its current issue with them.
moose579 Posted December 11, 2012 Author Posted December 11, 2012 (edited) ive tryed both burning drives external and internal on laptop and still keeps error on 64% of burn ive tryed now 3 other ios files to which they all do the same error and alcohol just stopped at 64% aswell Edited December 11, 2012 by moose579
LIGHTNING UK! Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 What you're burning is not the problem.
moose579 Posted December 11, 2012 Author Posted December 11, 2012 what eles can i try this is a new order of disc had sum cheaper printerable ones before and all then errored aswell ive wasted about 60 disc now ,,,trying different things by reading diff stuff on forums
LIGHTNING UK! Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Get yourself some of these. http://www.totalblankmedia.com/jvc-dvdr-16x-50-spindle-taiyo-yuden-p-2216.html If the drive(s) still error out, buy a new one.
moose579 Posted December 11, 2012 Author Posted December 11, 2012 might just try on someone eles pc first just make sure its not both my drives thanks for your replys
