a friend download a number of videos onto a spare hard drive. i was able to burn a dvd of one of them and it plays on my laptop, but not on my tv's DVD player. any suggestions? I am a newbie and fairly dumb-user, so please be kind

Probably you need to convert them to a standard DVD files before burn.

 

You can use DVDFlick or DVDStyler for the job. ImgBurn is just a burning tool.

You happen to have the same RAM... As someone I know
