tharkas666 Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 Hi, I searched the forum and checked the guides but coudn't find anything to solve my problem. I have an iso of a DVD9 movie. I have couple of dvdram discs(9.4gb). But unfortunately I was wrong to think that my dvd writer is able to write DL. So my question is: can I split the iso into two DVD5 images and write them to the each side of my dvdram disc? thanks
blutach Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 No. DVD Video can not be written properly to DVDRAM, which is for data storage (much like a huge floppy disk). You can split the DVD though and burn to 2 DVD+/-Rs 1. Mount the ISO using Daemon Tools. 2. DL and open VobBlanker. 3. Follow the guide to splitting on the VobBlanker site. Note: Make sure "Use input folders" is not ticked and an output folder on your hard drive is selected. 4. Burn on a DVD+R with ImgBurn. Regards
