saad Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 I have a Windows 8 64-bit system. I have installed the ImgBurn version 2.5.7.0 on the system. It didn't create a Start Menu shortcut for the ImgBurn.exe. The installer has created the 'ImgBurn Read Me and Uninstall shortcuts only.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Where are you looking exactly? I see it ok on mine.

saad Posted December 23, 2012 Author Posted December 23, 2012 (edited) I opened the location listed below and all the shortcuts are available there. C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\ImgBurn Edited December 23, 2012 by saad
saad Posted December 23, 2012 Author Posted December 23, 2012 I have uninstalled the program and re-installed it but same issue.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 As you can clearly see that all of the shortcuts have been created (post #4), it's probably Windows that's removing the 'ImgBurn.exe' one from the 'ImgBurn' program group - no doubt because it's already available at the top level (the icons on the left). It probably checks for duplicates or something.
saad Posted December 24, 2012 Author Posted December 24, 2012 ic. Thank you for looking into this matter.
