ssh1091
Ive messed with the "READ" settings of ImgBurn but I havn't had any luck. Here is the problem. Im ripping a dual layer disc. The iso turns outs to be ~7.93GB while the files on the disc are ~3.9GB. I dont need a 1:1 8GB image. Is it possible to set ImgBurn to rip more efficiently? I would prefer the 4GB file. Below is my disc info, note the file sizes. Disc Information: Status: Complete State of Last Session: Complete Erasable: No Sessions: 1 Sectors: 4,161,520 Size: 8,522,792,960 bytes Time: 924:48:70 (MM:SS:FF) Supported Read Speeds: 2.5x, 4x, 8x Current Read Speed: 3.3x - 8x File System Information: Sectors: 2,080,560 Size: 4,260,986,880 bytes Edited December 29, 2012 by ssh1091
LIGHTNING UK!
A disc image is a disc image. You can't read everything sector by sector AND be more efficient. If you want an efficient ISO (where extra padding has been removed and it's no longer 1:1), just build a new ISO. Use 'Build' mode and point the 'Source' at your optical drive (i.e. D:\ or whatever). Thank you. Thats exactly what I was trying to do.
