LIGHTNING UK! Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Maybe your drive doesn't support them? The disc info certainly looks messed up and is missing stuff.
Adrianvdh Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Please diaplay the Family Tree (Tools -> Drive -> Family Tree
usulmystic Posted December 29, 2012 Author Posted December 29, 2012 Guess they stamp their brand on various different disks, past 2 spindles were 100%, then this one the packaging and disks all look different, while the lable/branding is the same and they don't work. So TDK is unreliable...

usulmystic Posted December 30, 2012 Author Posted December 30, 2012 I returned the defective TDK dvd-rs to the shop, found 1 with the old packaging and they work. Examined the two products, everything seems to be identical, appears to be the same disks in a with new packaging but the new ones must be different because they don't work.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 It's the dye/MID of the disc that's important, not the brand name. So yeah, they probably just switched the product they stamped their name on.
