griffinmill
I am trying to prepare and burn a disc the way I have always done it but on this occassion I am running into problems. I prepare the disc with DVD architect, and choose fit-to-disc as I always do. It successfully created the folder. Then I go into IMGBURN and click on "Create image file from file folders". I import the folder and so far so good until.... ...it comes up with options for Layer Break Positions. This has never happened before. The project is small (3GB) and shouldn't need this. But I have went along with it anyway, and chose a random layer break position. It then creates two files (an ISO file and another file below it (Type: IMAGE FILE). When I click on the ISO file I get an error message "You should have selected the MDS file and not this one". What's this all about? LIGHTNING UK!
If the contents of the VIDEO_TS folder are only 3GB in size, I can't see why it would have prompted you to pick a layer break position. You might want to double check the folder itself and your selection. As for the MDS / ISO thing... well the MDS contains the info about the layer break position. If one is present, you should select that and not the ISO - as per the message box that popped up.
