Ed_Jones Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 I need to add an EXE file to an IMG file so it will be on the final DOS boot disk... I have the image file for the correct DOS version... I am trying to add a HDD utility program to execute in DOS mode... I have placed the IMG and The EXE file in the file list and created an ISO file and burned to disk... Didnt't work... Somehow I need to expand the IMG file and then include the EXE in the list and then create an ISO and burn...I think... Please help... Thanks Ed
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 You'd either need to add it to the actual bootable disc image or as general disc content *if* the bootable part loads CD-ROM drivers. You'd be better off making a bootable USB stick and adding the EXE to that. They're much easier to work with / update etc.
