meatball Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 I wanted to copy 1500 files to a DVD. Total size is 1.3GB. I was in the Build mode. When I selected all 1500 files and tried to add them to the queue at once, the "file not found" error message popped up. I don't know what that means. So I played around and selected fewer files. The program would let me add the first 936 files (740MB) to the queue, with no problem. Then I selected the rest of the files and added them. When I took that one extra step, the error message never popped up. I also thought my filenames might be too long. So I renamed all the files to File0001.jpg, File0002.jpg, etc. When I did that, the program would let me add all the files at once. No extra step. Does anyone know what's wrong? Thanks for your help.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 You just went over the string length limit by selecting that many in one go. Add the folder itself... or use Advanced input mode.
