scribe Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 I recently tried to author a dvd video from an .iso I have. I have used this iso many times to make this movie but now I am getting this error. Nero gives me PMA error and Magic iso says NO cd/rw in drive. I am using the same media I always have Memorex dvd+r 4.7gb with a LG GH22LS50 and the latest firmware. LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Try burning at 8x. Try cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc. If the drive still fails to burn those 'CMC MAG-M01-00' discs, buy some better ones. The brand name doesn't mean anything, it's the MID that's important.

scribe Posted April 18, 2013 Author Posted April 18, 2013 (edited) I purchased TDK DVD+R DL they had the same error. So I purchased a new drive; ASUS DRW-24B1ST and also purcahsed TDK DVD+R(single layer). The Asus drive did not show up in Magic disc but it did complete a successful iso burn using ImgBurn with the TDK single layer discs Edited April 18, 2013 by scribe
