Parent folders/directories

Hello -- 

 

I wanted to burn a CD with  various data folders -- some were levels deep -- 

 

I when to the "add folder"   button and selected the folder, but  when it was added to the 

cd "root"  it  included  all the parent folders up to the drive letter -- 

 

How do I get this to just insert the selected folder at the root of the (to be burned) CD? 

 

I got around this by using subst to the folder I wanted to be at the CD root
