what does this mean Power Calibration Area Error

ive had img burn for a very long timm but for some reason this morning I kept getting this error when I tried burning---ive not changed any settings or anything and always use the same discks

It means the drive is having trouble finding a suitable (power) setting for the laser - in order to get a decent burn.

 

Are you quite sure you've always used 'MBI 01RG40' discs? The brand name stamped on them doesn't mean anything.

 

Have you tried the other supported write speeds?

 

How about cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc?
