Failed to Write Sectors Reason: Synchronous Data Transfer Error

I have just tried twice to burn a DVD. I ran into an error that said "Failed to Write Sectors Reason: Synchronous Data Transfer Error". The thing is that it did this on the Verify cycle, but when I play the DVD in a DVD player it seems fine. I says seems as I'm wondering is there some kind of fault that will eventually show up after a few plays of the DVD.

Post the log please - as per the pink box up the top :chair:

Unfortunately, the log did not save and I forgot to copy it before I shut down ImgBurn

Yes, that is what I was trying to do but the latest log entry was 9th May. for some reason it didn't save the one I did today. I suppose my question was more of a general one: "If the disc image burns correctly but does not pass the verification process is it still ok?". I say this as I have burnt DVDs before without using the Verify process and they turned out ok - I would never have known any different as the Verify box was not checked.

If it fails to verify, there's a problem somewhere.

Without knowing the specifics, it's impossible to say if it's a system issue or a disc issue.
