dbrown1986 Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 (edited) This has happened to me before on two different drives, a LITEON BD-R IHOS112 and now on my LG HL-DT-ST BD-RE WH14NS40 Both drives have their latest firmware. I have used Optical Quantum BD-R's (PHILIP-R04-000) until recently when they started to encounter Lead-In errors. I bought a Verbatim disc (VERBAT-IMe-000) today to do a test write (which passed) and then did an actual write, which also seemed to pass. Thing is, after the write, the disc appears blank, as if the laser did not turn on or write to the disc. As I mentioned before, both drives have done this, on seperate motherboards and seperate power supplies so I haven't a single clue as to what is happening. If you need any additional info, let me know and I will post an addendum to this post. Here's a "burn" log. Could it be the SCSI Pass Thru (SPTD)? I 16:25:43 ImgBurn Version 2.5.7.0 started! LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Turn the PC physically off and on again and the proceed with a normal burn. Make sure you enable the Verify option so the program can check to see if the disc was written correctly.
