I need some help with configuring ImgBurn. I want to burn CDs for both Windows and Mac. The CDs are for software distribution and will contain only data files. I am burning CDs on a Windows 8 machine. I'm using ImgBurn 2.5.7.0.

I've tried numerous options but am still having trouble getting the disc to work on Macs.

Here are my current settings:

  Image data type: Mode1/2048

  File System: ISO9660 + Joliet

  Recurse Subdirectories: On

  Include Hidden Files: On

  Include System Files: On

  ISO9660 Folder/File Name Length: Level 1

  ISO9660 Character Set: Standard

ISO9660 Allow More Than * Directory Levels: On

ISO9660 Allow More Than 255 Characters in Path: On

ISO9660 Allow Files Without Extensions: On

Joliet Folder/File Name Length: Level 1

Anything that I haven't noted specifically above, is disabled or off.

When I view the contents of the CD on a Mac, the app file is marked as damaged. It looks like something is incomplete. Is there some other option I need to use?

I've attached the log. I see many of the Mac files marked with the alert triangle but the log doesn't tell me what's wrong. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks

I have no experience of Macs but if you want the warnings to go away, you'll have to enable the 'Advanced' -> 'Restrictions' -> 'Joliet' -> 'Allow Files Without Extensions' option.

Can't Macs read UDF?
