Burned DVD will not play in DVD player

I just burned a dvd using IMGburn and when I try to play it the dvd player says "Disc Error".  I've never used IMG before...was using windows dvd burner but found it would not burn everything I wanted to burn.  I know my dvd player will play burned dvds so I know that's not the problem.

Also...I don't know much about computers and had a hard time following the other posts about this, so, be kind :)

Here's the log

When I open the files on the burned dvd it says:

Aladdin.1992.1080p.Bluray.x264                            MP4 video

Could it not play because it's a blue ray rip?  even though I burned it to a regular dvd-r???  I didn't think that part mattered....

Thanks in advance for the help!

Why would windows dvd maker be able to burn without converting first?   Sorry, like I said, I really don't know much about this stuff.....Which program do you suggest for converting?  Obviously I need the one thats easiest to use

Thanks

It probably is converting it.

Look at what you're adding to Windows DVD Maker and then see what's actually on the disc once it has been burnt.

If the 2 aren't exactly the same, you know it's doing something else in the background (i.e. some sort of conversion).
