News.net free with ImgBurn, uh... no thanks

I have donated in the past because I have always loved using this software and it was worth the money. ($40)

I had to install new on one of my PC's and was not given a choice to deselect news.net with the install. I just wanted ImgBurn.

Registered only to mention this, very off putting.

I would love to uninstall, but news.net is not listed in my control panel.

Are you serious?!

AFAIK, nothing OpenCandy offers to the user is without some sort of 'opt out' option. It might not be immediately obvious, but it should be there somewhere.
