rosanna Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 hi sometime imgburn doesn't detect my dvd i found out this error The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load: cdrom this did not happen every boots but only sometime do you know i can i fix it? thanks the only security program is smart security 5 windows7 64bit

Try Googling to find out why the 'cdrom' service might be failing to start. thanks!! may i ask you some feebacks? the drive is new and the motherboard too are both asus do you think it's a windows 7 issue or hardware according your experience? i would appreciate it a lot thanks ps i guess there are few dvd burner lg , ausus and other very few brands
LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Well the first thing to check / change would be the SATA port you've connected it to and the cable you used. Make sure it's plugged into the Intel (assuming it's an Intel board) chipset SATA port and not any 3rd party (Marvell, JMicron etc) chipset SATA port.
