downloaded new version 2.5.8.0

Hey there, downloaded the version 2.5.8.0  and didn't think to look at previous setting, which were taken off and put into the default now i cant do any back up onto disk not reading and had an Iso problem, need help bad, thought the update would help,

but since I first got computer i was able to make a back up, since then unable. Last back up was in 2011, need help if you can, if not please point me in right direction.

 

I did do the verify, and the discovery, is where I had the problems.
