LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Google for 'imgburn nvinit' and I'm sure you'll find a few things you can try - even 'nvinit crash' gives quite a few results. I do not know why that module of the nvidia driver crashes for you, it just does. I have an nvidia card too (and obviously the drivers are installed for it) and I've never run into that problem. If you fancy trying an uncompressed ImgBurn.exe (this was a remark posted in a thread I just saw), you can get it from http://download.imgburn.com/SetupImgBurn_2.5.8.0_NoUPX.exe
Dukislav Posted July 25, 2013 Author Posted July 25, 2013 Yes, uncompressed working fine... No problem at all... I have latest "official" drivers - 320.49... It is still the same question, why only ImgBurn crashing and no other applications so far and I have installed quite a few applications? ... For years now I use ImgBurn no problem on my other computer, and I could always rely on the it when it comes to burning discs. . The "problem" started when I recently bought a HP Pavilion dv7 Laptop - 7000with i7-3610M (HD4000 Graphics) and nVidia GT 650m. Obviously there is something wrong with switching graphics when using ImgBurn. I note again that I do not have similar problems with other programs. It is particularly confusing as ImgBurn should not be graphics-intensive applications like some games, for example ... It is not a big deal, but still... Best Regards! D.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 If the uncompressed one works fine, the nvinit file must have an issue with upx compressed programs. It's nothing to do with ImgBurn itself.
