App to automate saving frames from AVI, etc.?

Need something that will automate saving the frames from an AVI, MPG, etc. file. Basically, go in and save each frame individually to a JPG, BMP, etc. file. Nothing fancy. I need it for a one time, as far as I know, project. The more free the application is the better and nothing with stupid TRIAL or logos etc. fucking up the image.

 

 

Anyone with any suggestions?
