omarbentaleb Posted August 27, 2013 Author Posted August 27, 2013 sorry but that didn't solve my problem any idea
LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 Did you actually read it?! Post the new log of you burning some Verbatim double layer discs instead then please.
omarbentaleb Posted August 27, 2013 Author Posted August 27, 2013 yes i'am using Verbatim double layer discs
omarbentaleb Posted August 27, 2013 Author Posted August 27, 2013 and this is not the first time that i've burned xbox games
LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 I 16:19:21 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: RITEK-S04-66)Not with that MID you aren't.
spinningwheel Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 i'am using this Which is really this: I 16:19:21 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: RITEK-S04-66) So we advise you to do this: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000 AGAIN!!! However, if you want to disagree with us, then good luck because for the problem to be resolved we need your cooperation. Not a running narrative about what type of media you think you have.
omarbentaleb Posted August 28, 2013 Author Posted August 28, 2013 ok i did what the page said but i still getting the error and i found this in google will it help Suggestion 1: Select [start] -> [Run], then input "msconfig". Disable everything under the [startup] tab, except "system tray'.Suggestion 2:Right click on [My Computer] and select [Properties] from the menu. Click on [Device Manager], then click on [CD-ROM]. This will expand to show the CD drives on your system. Right click on a drive and select [Properties] from the menu. Click on the [settings] tab and check that the [DMA] option is enabled. Repeat this procedure for the remaining CD drives.Suggestion 3:http://www.cdr-zone.com/articles/atapi_e…
spinningwheel Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 If you did everything the link explained, post a copy of the failed log from the recent failure. If you want to shut down unnecessary processes while burning, get a neat little program called EndItAll here: http://enditall.en.softonic.com/ and run it prior to using ImgBurn. Don't screw around with msconfig unless you know what you are doing. You don't have a DMA problem so don't mess with that either.
Ch3vr0n Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 If you are really using those, then they're prepacked and fake. That is an official verbatim packaging but verbatim does not use a ritek media code. Return that crap and ask for a refund. The official mid for that type is either mkm-003 or mcc-004

LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 What are the options (supported write speeds) with your drive/firmware/media combo? 4x would be a good place to start.

Your drive can only burn those discs at 2,4x and 6x. 2,4x was used instead of 4x. Try 6x. If that don't produce you a good disc you really need to get the real deal, Verbatim MKM. Also you should update ImgBurn to current version.
omarbentaleb Posted August 30, 2013 Author Posted August 30, 2013 ok thank you for replying i'm gonna try it and send you the result and i hope it's work
