santanulahiri Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Hi, I don't know what to make of this. My copy came up flagged as infected by my anti-virus. So I deleted that copy and downloaded a fresh copy from one of the mirrors. That was flagged as well. Tried other mirrors, with uniform results. I am including the log from the scan. Can you please look into this? Thanks. LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 This is just a case of not understanding what you're looking at. It's flagged as 'PUP.Optional.OpenCandy'. PUP is 'potentially unwanted program'. The installer uses the OpenCandy platform (read their FAQ for more info) to make 3rd party product offerings as part of the installation wizard. You're free to decline them if you aren't interested. I guess that's where the 'Optional.OpenCandy' bit comes in.
