i’ll start by saying i understand dev's need to make money to develop and support freeware programs. the problem i have is when they try to trick/deceive you into installing bloat/toolbars on your computer. when i first went to install imgburn i thought the option to opt out of installing the keybar toolbar was disabled and it had to be installed. i canceled the installer and was not going to update imgburn. i decided to try installing it in sandboxie just to see what happens and that’s when i realized you can click on 'Custom installation (advanced)' even though it’s grayed out and clearly made to look like the option is disabled. this might be the shadiest attempt to trick people into installing bundled software i have seen and that’s saying something. does imgburn really recommend users install the keybar toolbar? would you install it on your computer? also i would have preferred to reply to one of the many existing threads but for some reason new users can't reply to threads and can only post new ones.

I have no control over the offer screens you're shown, OpenCandy handle all that stuff.

If you've read some of the other threads talking about this stuff you'll know I've already been on to OpenCandy in the hope they'll allow us to get rid of the greyed out / disabled looking radio buttons. I consider that taking things a step too far too.
