jonathan1683 Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 (edited) Hey Guys I am also having the same issue. What is more odd is I seen others that have promoted this dvd writer as working for xbox games. Do you have any advice of which specific lite on to get that is available? I dont mind buy another one. I just dont want to have 2 useless burners and I just got this one. I have also tried memorex and verbatim media. Here is a guy saying that this burner works. http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php/97292-BurnerMAX-Payload-Tool-Compatibility?p=950978&viewfull=1#post950978 21:18:59 ImgBurn Version 2.5.8.0 started!I 21:18:59 Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Edition (6.1, Build 7601 : Service Pack 1)I 21:18:59 Total Physical Memory: 8,387,112 KiB - Available: 5,742,616 KiBI 21:18:59 Initialising SPTI...I 21:18:59 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices...I 21:18:59 -> Drive 1 - Info: ASUS DRW-24B1ST c 1.05 (P:) (RAID)I 21:18:59 Found 1 DVD±RW/RAM!I 21:19:18 Operation Started!I 21:19:18 Source File: G:\gta5.disc2.dvdI 21:19:18 Source File Sectors: 4,267,015 (MODE1/2048)I 21:19:18 Source File Size: 8,738,846,720 bytesI 21:19:18 Source File Volume Identifier: DVD_ROMI 21:19:18 Source File Volume Set Identifier: b75b0000MS UDFBridgeI 21:19:18 Source File Application Identifier: CDIMAGE 2.45 (12/06/2000 TM)I 21:19:18 Source File Implementation Identifier: Microsoft CDIMAGE UDFI 21:19:18 Source File File System(s): ISO9660, UDF (1.50)I 21:19:18 Destination Device: [4:1:0] ASUS DRW-24B1ST c 1.05 (P:) (RAID)I 21:19:18 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: MKM-003-00)I 21:19:18 Destination Media Supported Write Speeds: 4x, 6x, 8xI 21:19:18 Destination Media Sectors: 4,267,040I 21:19:18 Destination Media L0 Data Zone Capacity: 2,133,520 (Changeable: Yes)I 21:19:18 Write Mode: DVDI 21:19:19 Write Type: DAOI 21:19:19 Write Speed: 4xI 21:19:19 DVD+R DL Reserve Track: NoI 21:19:19 Link Size: AutoI 21:19:19 Lock Volume: YesI 21:19:19 Test Mode: NoI 21:19:19 OPC: YesI 21:19:19 BURN-Proof: EnabledI 21:19:19 Write Speed Successfully Set! - Effective: 5,540 KB/s (4x)I 21:19:19 Book Type Setting: N/A (Reason: Invalid Field in CDB)I 21:19:19 Advanced Settings - Force HT: Yes, Online HT: No, OverSpeed: No, SmartBurn: YesI 21:19:19 CD/DVD Life Record Count: 69 - CD/DVD Record Count: 13I 21:19:46 Optimal L0 Data Zone Capacity: 2,133,520I 21:19:46 Optimal L0 Data Zone Method: Copied From Original DiscI 21:19:47 Set L0 Data Zone Capacity Succeeded!I 21:19:47 L0 Data Zone Capacity - Effective: 2,133,520I 21:19:47 Filling Buffer... RhoTrux64 Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 (edited) Disable "Perform OPC before write". Second burn log shows cheap media also. Stick with the Verbatim made in Singapore, MID: MKM003 as in the first burn log. Edited September 27, 2013 by RhoTrux64
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 jonathan1683, I've moved your post into its own thread. Please don't hijack someone elses.
jonathan1683 Posted September 28, 2013 Author Posted September 28, 2013 ok thanks for the tip ISF I need to buy some more now I used all my DVDs as coasters. I didn't mean to hijack a thread normally in forums people get mad asking the same questions and since he posted the same issue only a couple threads down I thought that would have been frowned upon making a new thread. I also donated to your site as soon as I asked for help so I didn't come across as a mooch. thank you,
jonathan1683 Posted October 1, 2013 Author Posted October 1, 2013 RhoTrux64 thank you very much i got my new dvds and they worked perfect after disabling.
