Hi, i want burn an .cue of FLAC but i have this message

 

 

 

 

I wasn't install other programs, because i use eac3to, for don't have problems in decoders

 

yesterday ImgBurn work, but today i have this message..

I extract it in IMGBurn folder?

 

And this modify quality? Because i don't want touch my tracks, i want the quality like i've ripped (it's CD Rip with EAC)

No, it's nothing to do with ImgBurn, it's a system wide DirectShow filter. I'm pretty sure that file includes a readme or similar.

 

All it's going to do is allow DirectShow to decode/decompress your Flac files. The process is loss less (the whole idea of Flac). ImgBurn will use the decoded/decompressed data when burning the Audio CD.

On my HDD C:Windows i have create a folder : Applications, for eac3to (i have create folder for eac3to in Applications), i can create a folder madFlac in my new folder Applications and put it here?

 

And i have FFDshow installed, why don't work ?

Yes, put in your applications folder if you like.

 

You just need to make sure you 'register' it once you've put it there.

I've not drag+drop, i've click/click the 'install' file and says : The Direct show filter was registered sucessfully

So, you say : Extract the rar (using something like WinRAR from www.rarsoft.com ) to ‘C:\Program Files\madFlac’ (or ‘C:\Program Files (x86)\madFlac’ if you’re using a 64 bit operating system).

 

I'm on Windows 7 64 bit, don't need to be in Program Files x86? i can be on C:Windows\Applications ?

You can put the files where you like, just don't move them once you've registered the file - as the registry will contain paths to where the file (madflac.ax) was originally and the OS will go looking for it there.

 

The install.bat file method won't work if you have UAC enabled. Using the method I detailed in that thread works even with UAC enabled. If it came up saying it registered successfully, I guess you've disabled UAC?

 

The best way to check if it worked is to now just try loading your CUE file again.

Yeah, you've basically disabled it so everything runs with Administrator rights. That's why the installer.bat file worked ok for you.

I don't know, it probably has an internal decoder that it uses for that.

 

You've installed madFlac for *every* app to be able to use it now (if they want to / need to), not just ImgBurn.

ImgBurn doesn't pick and choose what to use, it's all automatic.

Audio CDs can be played in all cd players (standalones etc. ), yes.
