How essential is it to use the ImgBurn Verify function? I use quality media and never get a bad burn. I would prefer not to do the Verify process unless it is needed for some reason I don't understand.

I would recommend enabling the Verify function, as it always helps. Rather be safe then sorry.

I remember when I use to burn Xbox 360 'Back-ups' and sometimes the Verification would fail, but the burn process didn't.

So it is up to you :)

The verify function does nothing to the burn quality. It just assure you the disc is readable.

 

It is advised to let it enabled so you know the disc can be read back properly (at least in that drive).
