viewer Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 HI, I have googled and searched for a few hours with little reward for my problem. I have read some threads that say I need to either update my DVD drivers, or perhaps my drive cannot do the function. Before I try to update the drivers, I thought I would get your recommendations/thoughts of my problem/alternatives before doing so. I am actually trying to do an iso of my original PS2 disc, so I can also run it via PCSX2 emulator on my Windows 7 PC. At this stage the program runs fine working from the original disc in PCSX2, but won't copy to an iso. Here is a log, showing the errors ( I have tried all different speeds to copy, all to no avail, getting to the same point each time (57%) ) I 23:00:37 Source Media Sectors: 2,293,888 (Track Path: PTP)I 23:00:37 Source Media Size: 4,697,882,624 bytesI 23:00:37 Source Media Volume Identifier: SLES_53089I 23:00:37 Source Media Volume Set Identifier: 010::243SCEI SLES_53089I 23:00:37 Source Media Application Identifier: PLAYSTATIONI 23:00:37 Source Media Implementation Identifier: DVD-ROM GENERATORI 23:00:37 Source Media File System(s): ISO9660, UDF (1.02)I 23:00:37 Read Speed (Data/Audio): MAX / 56xI 23:00:37 Destination File: C:\SLES_53089.ISOI 23:00:37 Destination Free Space: 894,950,187,008 Bytes (873,974,792.00 KiB) (853,491.01 MiB) (833.49 GiB)I 23:00:37 Destination File System: NTFSI 23:00:37 File Splitting: AutoI 23:00:38 Read Speed - Effective: 6.6x - 16xI 23:00:40 Reading Session 1 of 1... LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 If your drive can't read the disc properly, there's nothing much you can do about it. Just ensure the disc is clean and free from scratches. You may have more luck reading the disc in another drive - if you have access to one?
