How to find out what a DVD burners capabilities are

I would like to find a web site that will list the capabilities of DVD's.

 

I have a DVD that I am trying to burn DVD'S on and I can't get ImgBurn to write DVD's.

I'd like to know if it has the capability to write.

I'd like to know if it will only write DVD-R or DVD+R

The model is Matshita UJDA755Z

I just Googled the model number.

 

It's a CD-RW burner / DVD reader.

 

So it's a 'combo' drive and can only read DVDs, it cannot write to them.

Isn't right click on the drive selection box and select Capabilities show what you're looking for?

 

Or Tools > Drive > Capabilities in any Mode where you have acces to the drive.
