Malware installed with IMGBurn

I'll add to the list of users complaing about malware being auto-installed with the latest version of IMGBurn.  As a fairly sophisticated computer user, I have NEVER been "tricked" into auto installing something like this.  I always uncheck "install blah blah add-on or toolbar" whenever an option is given.  I actually recall unchecking a similar option during the install process of ImgBurn but I do not recall the name of whatever software you guys were peddling.  Regardless, I now have the searchassist.com redirect virus on my computer and am working to remove it.  Shame on you!

I've never seen opencandy install something without first prompting you and giving you the option of opting out.

 

Maybe you skipped over the first offer page by accidentally clicking the 'next' button too many times or something.

 

Unless you happened to be recording the screen at the time, I guess we'll never know.
