BQB Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 (edited) I've used ImgBurn to make backup and archive disks, but I'm not having much luck saving files to my hard drive rather than a disk. What I'm trying to do is save the audiobooks I get from the library to a thumb drive for use in my vehicles, and I thought I could use ImgBurn to save the audiofiles on my hard drive. I thought that was an option I could select, but if so, I sure can't find it. Is that something I can do with ImgBurn or did I just imagine it? Edited January 28, 2014 by BQB
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 ImgBurn will create an image of the disc (probably a bin and cue file). They're meant for burning to new blank disc, not for being copied to a USB stick. It sounds like you may want to extract/rip the tracks from the disc and save them in mp3 format or whatever. You can use something like 'exact audio copy' (EAC) for that.
