TechByter
I bought Verbatim BD-R discs for use in a Samsung SE-506 Blu-Ray writer. When I place the disk in the writer, ImgBurn reports that the capacity of the disc as 25GB, which is correct. But when I select a 25GB ISO and specify the target as the Verbatim 25GB BD-R disc that's in the Samsung SE-506 Blu-Ray writer, I'm told that the disc is just 13GB and that the 25GB file will not fit.I can't send a log file because I never start the process.Any idea what I've set incorrectly? Thanks! LIGHTNING UK!
It's your drive that reports those values. Copy + paste the disc info from the box on the right for when your drive reports it correctly / misreports it.
TechByter
Arrrgh. Never mind. PEBCAK error here. The program is fine. The user is an idiot. So the question I should have asked is this: Is there a way within ImgBurn to reduce the size of a 50GB iso file so that it will fit on a 25GB disc. LIGHTNING UK!
No, sorry. If you want to shrink a BD movie, take a look at BD Rebuilder, ClownBD or the DVDFab suite.
