dbminter Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 This is probably a silly question as I can probably guess the answer, but what is the maximum number of drive letters allowed in Windows? The logical answer is, of course, 26, one for each letter of the alphabet. But, is that really the limit?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Yes, after that the drives just don't get a letter.
dbminter Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 I remember reading several years ago somewhere online that Alcohol supposedly supported up to 32 virtual drives. I said at the time, "How can that be? There are only 26 letters in the alphabet!" Unless they did something DD: Wow, I randomly chose DD: Guess where my subconscious must be!
