Musashi Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 I have an audio CD that I am trying to copy to a bin/cue file on the computer, so I can make a clean copy for use in my car (better to risk destroying a 25 cent CD than a 16 dollar CD). Anyway, I have put the CD in and told imgburn to create the BIN file. When I start the process it gets to track 6 on the disc and stops at Analysing Tracks. . . (Session 1, Track 6). It has no scratches, it is brand new, it just seems to get stuck there. I have let it run for over 20 minutes and it is still stuck in the same spot. Is there something I am missing doing, or is the disc somehow protected from copying by something in that track? Any help would be appreciated.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Eject it, reinsert it and try again. If you haven't already done so that is. If you have another drive anywhere, try it in that too.
Musashi Posted March 6, 2014 Author Posted March 6, 2014 I have tried multiple times, on different drives including blu-ray readers, and DVD readers, plus 3 different computers. I just seems there something in the CD that is stopping it. I was hoping I could get a log file, so I cound find out where it was stopping, but because it stops at the analyzing it has no log file to check. It is just really frustrating. Thanks for your help and ideas.
