MPH
I can't seem to make a copy of my copies, would it have something to do with 'BURN PROOF ENABLED'???
kevdriver
MPH, No it wouldn't to answer your question. Unfortunately thats all I can say on that subject due to legal restraints. Welcome to the forum........
SPA_CE
Here is some info. on Burn-Proof BURN-Proof (Buffer Under Run Error Proof) is a technology developed by Sanyo that allows compact disc (CD) recording to automatically stop in the event of an unplanned interruption and then to resume recording. BURN-Proof is a registered trademark of Sanyo. When a CD is burned (recorded), the data must usually be written onto the CD without any interruption. If an interruption, such as the opening of a new application, does occur, a Buffer Under Run error occurs and the burn is unsuccessful. BURN-Proof technology located on firmware inside the CD-R or CD-RW drive monitors the recording process. If the drive detects a Buffer Under Run error, it suspends recording. When the problem is resolved, the CD-R or CD-RW drive restarts recording data from where it stopped. BURN-Proof technology is used with CD drive speeds 12X and higher because Buffer Under Run errors occur more often with faster drives. Many CD recording application vendors provide BURN-Proof support with their software. (Hope It Helps.)
polopony
Kevdriver said it all Burnproof is not the culprit here ,burnproof pauses the burn in instances where the hard drive cant keep the buffers full. Id check the quality of the media www.digitalfaq.com What helps the most, always are the logs from IMGburn

MPH
Wow, thanks for the great response, and quick!! Maybe I was'nt quite explicit in my problem. I tried to make another copy of a recent copy, I placed the disk into the drive and it was acknowledged and asked which program I wanted to open the CD?? with, that's right it said CD, I then opened DVD Shrink and it told me there was no DVD loaded, I then tried to play the DVD with Hero and it also said there was no DVD loaded, I then tried it in the DVD Player (normal home type) and it was perfect. I have also tried some other copies with the same result??.
lfcrule1972
Could still be crap media, PC drives are more picky than standalone players, any chance of putting one of these discs in your drive, opening ImgBurn and copy pasting the info that appears in the window on the right of the GUI ? In the absence of a log it will tell us details of the dye etc
Kenadjian
You can also do a verify with ImgBurn on the source media, chances are it will fail to read the sectors, which means as the boys said, crappy media.
