First time user...Audio cd plays on computer but not standalone cd player

Had a chance to give this new application a test run for the first time. I am happy with it so far. Decided to burn a simple two track audio cd to get familiar with how it works. It plays just as expected on my laptop in the cd player software. However when I put it in the cd player in my vehicle, it only generates a read error and will not play. Any suggestions?

I guess your car CD player is having trouble reading the disc then. Try with some decent 'write once' Taiyo Yuden CDs. Rewritable discs are best left for use in a computer.

 

If the above makes no difference and if you have access to one, try burning a disc on another drive. Some produce discs that are less compatible than others.

I did you use a RW disc.  I will get some one time use cd discs and try that and let you know how it goes.  Thanks for the reply.
