Biggilb Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 My problem: After trying for three days, I am still unable to create a CD that my car audio will play and display text showing the song title and artist .... the player has this capability.I have read (and followed the steps) for creating Cue files and have done so successfully ........ only problem is they do not show the text when I play them.I have tried both the 'tag' function and the 'custom' functions ..... they both create identical Cue files which appear exactly like the files in the several tutorials I have worked through. But no method seems to work which will create a text enabled CD to play on my car's player. Can anyone give me a clue as to what I am or am not doing? Or a very simple step by step on how to do this?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Post the log of you burning the disc please. Also, if you go into Read mode when your burnt disc is in the drive and click the 'View Media Information' button in the 'Source' box, does the CD-TEXT show up in the window that opens?
David Zhu Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Hi this is the same with my problem. I clicked "View media information" it did show CD-TEXt, but when I play it on windows media player12, it doesn't show up. by the way, When I use windows media player 12 playing CD bought in shop, it show up.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Windows media player doesn't display cd text unless you install a 3rd party plugin. http://bmproductions.fixnum.org/index.htm?http://bmproductions.fixnum.org/moreprogs/wmpcdtext.htm What you're seeing from it when you insert that shop bought disc is data from the Internet.
