Grain Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 The word on the street here is that since Liteon has bot BenQ's optical business, there will be no more BenQ drives. I've noticed that their(BenQ) Canadian site has pulled the 18X drive notice and info. Several online shops have also started to run out here (as wel as in the States). Sounds like if your in the market for a good scanner drive, now's the time to buy. Any word elsewhere? Might have to try a Liteon drive next.
polopony Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 yeah I've noticed that sites I visit that carried BenQ's no longer have them www.Newegg.com had plenty now nothing there still available from www.meritline.com as of a couple odf days ago
