noct3rn4l Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Hi Guys, I've searched the forum here and couldnt find this exact question asked and answered so here goes. If i burn a single .mkv file to DVD using "write files/folders to disc" i am able to watch an HD video on a regular BD/DVD Player no problem. If i have multiple .mkv files (ie an entire season of a TV show for example) and do the same thing it doesnt work. Is there no way to have it simply play one after the other without using additional software to convert? It just seems weird that 1 file will work, but 2 won't.. i could understand if you want the ability to select specific episodes in a season, but in this case i'm not looking for any of that extra control, i just want each file to play right after the other. I mean i know it's relatively easy to run it through ConvetXtoDVD but i always find there to be a noticeable loss in quality compared to writing .mkv straight to dvd using imgBurn (and no, it is not a trial version). thanks, noct
LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Playback of MKV would depend on your playback device. ImgBurn is just burning the file(s) as-is.
ianymaty Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 That's just a player setting. Play one file than stop or Play all files (or something similar if the player has support for playing files).
