JAF2801 Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Dear all, I use DVD Flick and ImgBurn to make DVDs. both my DVD players are Region 2. I have 2 players in my house (that work ) and they are: Toshiba 2-drive, and an Arcam one. Discs I have created work only in the Acram one. This is difficult as it is in the attic and is not too comfortable for viewing (if I need to show someone something I have to drag them up to the attic). I tested them in a friend's house on his players (he has 3: two toshiba and one sony dvd and hdd digibox) and they work fine there. In the two players in my house which don't work, they play in a very jittery and sound laggy way). I also have a blu ray player which doesn't accept the disks full stop. so could anyone tell me why they are not working in the toshiba 2-disc tray one. It is fine in other toshibas and if possible, could you tell me a solution thanks jaf
ianymaty Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Those drives seems to be picky. The don't like the disc you are using. Try some other media. Recommended are Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden.
ianymaty Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 That doesn't matter on modern players. For older players you should use DVD-R for a better compatibility.
