Buffer taking ages to fill after 4 months

Hey guys, this is really bugging me and i cant figure it out

 

Ive made no changed to my system or settings at all,

 

Im using a liteon ihas 324 b and only burn verbatim dual layer.

 

Ive done 336 dual layers in 4 months, device buffer is fine instantly hits 100%.

 

I have a 512 buffer that used to fill instantly untill just now now it takes 2-3 mins to fill to 100% then it fluctuates.

 

Whats causing this? Thanks in advance guys

Now device buffer is dropping to 4-5%

Sounds like a DMA issue to me.

Sorry to be s noob but what is that and how could i fix it?

It depends on your OS. Which one are you running?

 

There's post in the FAQ that covers most DMA issues.

 

If you're worried about your hdd, run the test suite provided by whoever manufactured it - check their website for one.

Ive done all tests itnseems fine. Im runing windows 7
