i/o error when creating .iso from a disk

I've successfully created iso's for Kingdom Hearts and .hack Infection. I however am running into an error approximately 75% of the way through Star Ocean TET. It could possibly be a scratch, but im unable to confirm this as my PS2 is at my brother's place.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm just trying to play this game. If there's any way this could be a non-physical (scratch) error and that the error could be fixed, i'd be very grateful. :bye3:

IM AN IDIOT! Two things: 1.) I can just run the disk straight through my computer to check it's functionality (Although that's a tiny hassle to always have the disk on hand.) 2.) I tried running the "incomplete" iso that imgBurn created  before it gave me the error (I simply stated that i didn't want it deleted) and SO FAR everything is working.

Try reading the disc in another drive / machine. Some are better at reading than others.

Give the disc a good clean and tell the program to 'continue' reading when it brings up the message box telling you there's been an I/o error. That'll at least give you an image of as much of the disc as possible. The unreadable bits will be zero filled.
