Isaactoo Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 I noticed that there is a way to change the speed under Tools->Drive->Set Read Speed, but the disk still seems to spin up really fast when I put it in the PC. I don't like my laptop vibrating like crazy...not so good for the electronics. I think I found out the right commands to send to the drive here - http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/ff551396%28v=vs.85%29.aspx I noticed it says that the speed setting only stays while the media is present, so it'd be nice if ImgBurn would send the command as soon as new media was detected. P.S. I know there is a program called Nero Drivespeed, but it's so old (from 2004) -- I'm afraid to run old software that modifies system-stuff. Thanks! Isaac
