superdupermoo Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 I just downloaded ImgBurn today, and also went and bought 5 DVD+R Dual Layer disks just so I could burn my Ubuntu x64 iso, but alas, I have a problem at the bottom... All I get is "Cannot write ISO file to DVD" or something like that. I have no clue what the LeadIn is for, or what it even is? What is wrong?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Your drive is getting on a bit now and probably can't handle the 'MID' of the discs you're using. Try and get some 2.4x speed Verbatim discs ('MKM-001-00' MID) or invest in a new drive if you'd like to have more chance of burning the ones you've purchased ('CMC MAG-D03-64'). btw, the image you're burning there would easily fit on a single layer disc, you didn't need to buy double layer ones.
