How to burn files?

Hi. I'm a novice imgburn user and do not understand how to do the most basic thing: to burn a file. Let me tell you how far I get: On the mode tab, I choose "write". Then, under "source" I click the green + sign to select a file; this opens up the Imgburn Queue. I click "add", and this takes me to a list of my files. I look in Local Drive C and highlight the video file I want to burn (just as I would do if I were using Nero). But then what? How to add the file to my imgburn queue? Any help for this embarrassing problem would be much appreciated!
