device buffer only goes to 50%

I have a HL-DT-ST BD-RE BH12LS38 ATA blu-ray burnner and when I use ImgBurn the device buffer never goes above 50%.  Is there a way to increase this?

No, that's just how the drive is designed to work I guess.

 

A future firmware update may change that.
