I found a bug the ImgBurn 2.5.8.0 ADIP display of 16x DVD+R discs on a MATSHITA BD-MLT UJ260.  I tried two different brands of 16x DVD+R discs and it displays the same bug.  The read speed for the descriptor entries display a read speed of 4,294,967,040 KB/s (3101059.2x).  Also, the Maximum Read Rate says Not Specified instead of 16x.  Both of these things display properly in DVDInfoPro Elite 7.2.0.0.

Here's the full text of what's displayed:

That's actually a straight dump of what the drive is returning.

It could handle the drive returning 0xFFFFFF00 for the read speed a little better, but that doesn't make it a bug.

Thanks for the email address info.  I changed it.

Okay, I see.  I just noticed that that DVDInfoPro doesn't display the read speed for each descriptor, just the rated speed for the disc.  Since it's a slim/laptop Blu-ray writer, the maximum read speed on it is only 8x.  My TSSTcorp BDDVDW SE-506AB correctly shows that as the read speed in all descriptors.

I just thought that instead of displaying an invalid speed, ImgBurn would display the maximum read speed for that type of media on the writer.  But, I'm guessing that info isn't returned with the capabilities info, so would require a list or database.
