LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 The log shows no error. Try and capture what's going wrong.
marvinabalostan Posted September 9, 2014 Author Posted September 9, 2014 Sorry. Here it is, im guessing is it the media/DVD? but this dvd works all the time and its not that cheap, this is the first time i burned an iso and first time to have an error also. Is there any troubleshooting I can do? because we have many dvd like this. Don't want it to go to waste, before I buy a different brand
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Your drive isn't in the 'Ready' state. Notice the message in the status bar at the bottom of the main window. You'll have to try with some different discs.
marvinabalostan Posted September 10, 2014 Author Posted September 10, 2014 So in other words I need to have a cheaper DVD-R, because this DVD that we have are like 3x the price of the generic ones in the market thanks Sir Lightning UK!, ill try to find some spare other brand DVD
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 I've never heard of AFA so I don't know the dye / MID the discs actually use. Of course just being expensive doesn't make them any good. They may use a cheap dye and just have an over inflated price label stuck on them. Try them in some other drives if possible and see if any of those can initialise them. If one can, please post up all of the disc info from the box on the right when you're in Write mode.
