pjcamp Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 I looked at the FAQ and did a keyword search. There are lots of complaints about this but none that I saw either applied here or led to a solution. I've got a home built computer with an LG WH10LS30 BD-RE writer. I'm using Verbatim single layer 16x dvd-r disks. Drivers are up to date. Imgburn used to record pretty close to that speed and verify quickly. But lately, records are running around 5-6x and verifies are 0.7x. Yes, that's less than single speed. I've been fooling around with the off and on for a week and it has me baffled. Log follows. LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 What do the buffers look like when it's verifying at that speed? Get a screenshot when it's at a steady verify rate please. btw, you can update the firmware on your drive. http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/WH10LS30/files.html
pjcamp Posted September 25, 2014 Author Posted September 25, 2014 Firmware update did it. Now it verifies around 10x. Don't know why I didn't think to look for that. Thanks!
